WestVillage Kids

Our Sundays morning are setup for kids from age 0 to 10.  Kids aged 0-2 are a part of our nursery program and those aged 3-4 participate in our toddlers programming.  The rest of the kids aged 5-10 participate in age related table groups in the school cafeteria and have an opportunity to engage with  our leaders on a lesson, craft and game each week.

Check in is between 9:45am & 10:15am on Sunday mornings and pick is immediately following the service.

All of the volunteers in the children’s ministry at WestVillage church are required to go through a multi stage process to be able to volunteer within this ministry.  These processes have been established not just due to insurance or liability concerns but are a part of our efforts to ensure that the safety and well being of kids at WestVillage are given the attention and concern they deserve.  This process involves a Vulnerable Sector Police check, Plan to Protect training and a minimum length of attendance at the church prior to serving in this area.  For more information about Plan to Protect please follow the link to the left.  To connect with the kids ministry regarding any questions you may have please follow the email link to the right.

The thought of getting to church, checking in your kids and getting to your seat can be a daunting task for anyone, but can be especially difficult for those of us that experience a disability in one form or another.  At WestVillage we have tried to ensure that the space we use and the programs we run are accessible and welcoming.  These efforts extend not just to those with physical disabilities but to all people regardless of the type or impact of their disability.

Recognizing that there are often many questions about what might be possible and that you may want to plan ahead, please connect with us about how we can work together.

WestVillage has chosen to go with the curriculum create by The Gospel Project.  We chose this curriculum because of its focus on going through the entire Bible and it comprehensive approach to teaching the whole bible in a way that is appropriate to children.  You can find greater detail on their website by following the link to the left.
