WestVillage Kids Ministry exists to see kids connect, be challenged, and celebrate through personally knowing and following Jesus Christ.
Our 4 C’s
We do this by focusing on 3 actions and One Person:
Helping Kids connect with God through Jesus Christ and experiencing real community
Challenging Kids with the truth of the Bible and the serious call to follow Jesus Christ with their lives.
Celebrating with them joyfully, authentically, and regularly celebrating the Good News of Jesus in their personal lives in community.
Christ is the foundation of our faith and our church. He is the reason for, the source of, and the substance of all we do.
There are 5 priorities we have in WestVillage Kids Ministry.
- Integrate Strategy– Aligning leaders and parents to lead with the same end in mind.
- Refine The Message– Crafting core truths into engaging, relevant, and memorable experiences.
- Reactive the Family– Enlist parents to act as partners in the spiritual formation of their own children
- Elevate Community – Connect everyone to a caring leader and a consistent group of peers.
- Leverage Influence – Consistent opportunities are created for students to experience personal ministry.

WESTVILLAGE KIDS MINISTRY TEAM
Our Kids Ministry Team at WestVillage believe that “KIDS MATTER” and that what we do for KIDS is more important than anything else.
We also understand that it’s difficult to lead KIDS somewhere if we don’t know where we are leading them.
Where are we leading them?
Well, we are leading them into environments which connect a small group of KIDS with a consistent leader. Our Small Groups are key in providing relationship.
All of our team members at westvillage KIDS go through a multi stage process to be able to serve within this KIDS ministry. The safety and well being of kids at WestVillage are given the attention and concern they deserve.
This process involves a Vulnerable Sector Police check, Plan to Protect training and a minimum length of attendance at the church prior to serving in this area.
For more information about Plan to Protect please follow the link to the left.
To connect with the kids ministry regarding any questions you may have please follow the email link to the right.
The thought of getting to church, checking in your kids and getting to your seat can be a daunting task for anyone, but can be especially difficult for those of us that experience a disability in one form or another. At WestVillage we have tried to ensure that the space we use and the programs we run are accessible and welcoming. These efforts extend not just to those with physical disabilities but to all people regardless of the type or impact of their disability.
Recognizing that there are often many questions about what might be possible and that you may want to plan ahead, please connect with us about how we can work together.
WestVillage has chosen to go with the curriculum create by The Gospel Project.
THE GOSPEL PROJECT FOR KIDS
Our curriculum is designed to take kids on a Christ-centered, chronological journey through Scripture.
Kids will discover how the gospel unfolds from Genesis through Revelation.
When kids truly experience the gospel, their hearts are transformed.
WHEN KIDS GET IT, EVERYTHING CHANGES.
